Rắn Cạp Đuôi is a Saigon-based collective of autodidacts for whom the relative absence of virtuosity might or might not have been made up for with an abundance of goforit open-mindedness. Schizophrenically hopscotching between sounds and never comfortably resting, the group channels the un-neat ruleless strangely ferocious world of quantum mechanics. 
 
With its inception in 2014, Rắn Cạp Đuôi Collective, originally consisted of guitarist Phạm Thế Vũ and accomplished producer Đỗ Tấn Sĩ, with membership continuing to expand and evolve throughout the years.  The collective works in the Saigon arts sphere but also began to branch out to play with acts such as Yamakawa Fuyuki (Japan), the Open Sex (USA), Usui Junichi (Japan), Yamauchi Katsuya (Japan), Halfsound (Australia), Tennger (Korea/ Japan), Hexis (Denmark/ Italy), Arnont Nongyao (Thailand), Mapo Radio (China), SZKMD Collective (Switzerland), Yximalloo (Japan), and Goth Prague (Australia). RCĐ’s most recent endeavor was a 48-hour nonstop performance and multimedia festival at a.Farm in Saigon, and another in Hanoi.
