How does language shape our identity?

Discussion Kapitalks x revue Prostor: Watch your language! will address the topic of the language of ethnic minorities and the extent to which language develops their identity. The contemporary world is exposed to strong globalising and unifying tendencies. It is estimated that of the six thousand languages that have existed so far, around 90 per cent are in imminent danger of extinction. How can they be kept alive?
