Fiction and Truth

The development of technology, especially tools that use artificial intelligence (AI), gives us greater opportunities to analyse information and verify its truthfulness, but also creates almost unlimited opportunities to create and spread disinformation, lies and manipulation - consciously or unconsciously.

Are we defencelessly at their mercy? No. There are ways to deal with false information, to teach people to be careful, and to pass on knowledge and skills about it. And librarians are the ones who can do this! The Goethe-Institut Warschau is organising a two-day workshop, led by Piotr Henzler. in which librarians from Poland will be able to participate. Participation is only possible on the basis of a personal invitation by the Goethe-Institut Warschau.
