Indonesia cannot feed its rapidly growing population itself and relies heavily on imports. Innovative young entrepreneurs present future solutions, such as vertical city fields or food made from insects. This film about the nutrition of the future, is part of the ten-part series accompanying Fridtjof Detzner, awarded the German Founder Award in 2015, to eight Asian countries. Looking for visionary ideas, Fridtjof meets with startup founders, organizations and activists working on innovative and inspiring solutions: artificial ice-stupas fighting climate change, revolutionary materials to save the world's oceans, smart apps to fight hunger and many more. We feel the pulse of the Asian startup ecosystem and what makes it unique. Above all, the series showcases these unique characters and their stories, thereby highlighting solutions to some of the world's most intractable issues.
