10^th Edition

The tenth edition of the Science Film Festival in Egypt was organized by Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a major library and cultural center on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, and reached 250 students from Primary and Middle School.

Screenings were held on December 6 and 7, 2023 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina conference center and included science shows and educational games on how to decrease our carbon footprint, as well as science competitions on the festival theme of ecological restoration.

Film Selection 2023

Pre-Jury

Over 30 pre-jury members with expertise in science education and science communication in the participating countries and in-depth knowledge of the local target audience are closely involved in the selection process. All films are translated and synchronized or subtitled into local languages where necessary to offer access without language barriers.
