12th Edition
The twelfth Edition of Science Film Festival in Myanmar was organized from October 27 until November 30 in hybrid format in cooperation with local partners, schools and organizations. The opening ceremony was held on the evening of October 27 at the Auditorium of Goethe-Institut Myanmar.

The opening film, ’Checker Tobi: The Waste Check’ was screened in its original language, German with English subtitles. German language students from the institute, invited students, children from orphanages and youth centers, as well as members of general public interested in the festival, collectively amounted to nearly 180 audiences during the opening event.

The festival adopted a hybrid format; while most screenings took place in the auditorium, the organizing team also conducted physical screenings at youth centers, orphanages, and churches. This approach enabled the engagement of over 5,000 children and students throughout the festival.
