14th Edition
The Science Film Festival marks its 14th edition in Myanmar in 2025, continuing a successful journey that began in 2012.

Presented in a hybrid format, the festival combines screenings at the Goethe-Institut with a video-on-demand platform that enables children, students, and general audiences across the country to take part from their own locations. This year’s program is dedicated to the theme “Green Jobs,” emphasizing the significance of sustainability and environmentally responsible career paths.

To ensure accessibility, most of the films will be dubbed into the local language for younger viewers, while others will be presented in their original version with English subtitles. Organized in close collaboration with local partners and communities, the festival fosters scientific curiosity and learning through engaging films and interactive experiences.
