4th Edition
Within the framework of the fourth edition of the Science Film Festival in Mali, organized by the German-Malian Cultural Center (CCGM) in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, screenings followed by experiments and debates around the topics covered in the films were held from December 1 to 20, 2022 at partner schools and institutions such as the Complexe Scolaire Moderne ADIARA, Lycée DIBA, Lycée La Lanterne, Lycée ECOMA, Institut National de la Jeunesse et du Sport, Ecole de Santé Félix Houphouet Boigny, Groupe scolaire de Sogoniko, Ecole de Santé de Bamako.

The festival was co-organized by Fily Event, who were in charge of screenings, documentation, and public communications. The screenings reached more than 800 participants in total.
 

Film selection 2022

Pre-Jury

Over 30 pre-jury members with expertise in science education and science communication in the participating country and in-depth knowledge of the local target audience are closely involved in the selection process. All films are translated and synchronized or subtitled into local languages where necessary to offer access without language barriers.
