Imagine if one of your hands started to move as if it no longer belonged to you. Or your skin became intolerant to water. That seems incredible, impossible even. Yet these are genuine medical conditions. They are illnesses that affect only a few people in the world. We met some patients with extremely rare syndromes. They agreed to tell us about their symptoms, which are strange to say the least.
