Prof. Dr. Boris Lehmann

Boris Lehmann is Chair of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering at TU Darmstadt. After earning a degree in hydraulic engineering, he worked in an engineering office for water management and subsequently at a state institute for environmental protection, where he focused on watercourse development and hydraulic calculation. He completed a doctorate on this subject at the University of Karlsruhe in 2005. After his habilitation, he was appointed Chair of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering at TU Darmstadt in 2013. In addition to his research, he currently also serves as Dean of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
