Claudia Bacci

Claudia Bacci is a professor of gender studies and social theory at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. She studied sociology and earned both a master's degree in social science research and a doctorate in social sciences (UBA). Her research focuses on interdisciplinary projects in gender studies, human rights and political theory, with a focus on Argentina and Brazil. She is currently researching the interactions between gender, intergenerational transmission and memory of the recent past, particularly in the context of witness testimony in trials for crimes against humanity.
