Amanda Svensson is a Swedish writer and journalist. She studied creative writing and has translated books of Ali Smith, Tessa Hadley and Kristen Roupenian. Her German debut, Ich habe dir immer über alles die Wahrheit gesagt (I Always Told You the Truth About Everything), secured her international success. Her novel A System So Magnificent It Is Blinding was awarded the Per Olov Enquist Literature Prize and the Svenska Dagbladet Literature Prize.
