Welcome to the Goethe-Institut New York

My Discovery of America
On Tuesday, October 21, at 6:30pm, two of Germany’s most distinguished contemporary playwrights, Tankred Dorst and Ursula Ehler, will join us at the Wyoming Building for a conversation with Christoph Bartmann, Director of the Goethe-Institut New York, and Thomas Wild, Professor of German at Bard College, about their work in progress, My Discovery of America, an epic play dealing with the experience of German prisoners of war in the Hudson Valley during World War II.
