THE GOETHE-INSTITUT NEW YORK LIBRARY WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED AS OF MAY 1, 2009.
Once the institute has moved, we anticipate opening at our new (yet to be determined) location sometime later this fall.
What does this mean for me?
- All media currently on loan may be returned to our 1014 Fifth Avenue location Mondays through Fridays from 9am to 5pm until JUNE 1, 2009.
- Alternately, you may keep media out on loan throughout the closing period and return it to us once we’ve reopened.
What about my membership?
- All memberships that were acquired or renewed in 2009 will receive a one year extended membership FREE OF CHARGE.
How will I find out about your new location?
- Check back here for the latest information.
- If you haven’t already subscribed, consider signing up for the institute's Mailing List.
- All patrons will receive a letter with our new address and opening hours once they have been established.
