Bonn, International Silent Film Festival
Established in 1985 by Matthias Keuthen and Stefan Drößler. "Under the open air in the Arkadenhof courtyard of Bonn University, audiences can discover restored silent movie treasures made available by film archives from around the world and rejuvenated by renowned silent film musicians."
In 2011, the "Ad Hoc Livemusikpreis”, donated by the Beethovenfest and endowed with €1,500, was awarded for the first time.
