Christoph Winkler

Christoph Winkler studied Choreography at the School for Drama “Ernst Busch” and is since considered one of the most versatile choreographers in Berlin.
He received numerous invitations e.g. from ImPulsTanz Wien, Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis (Paris) and Maison de la Danse Lyon.
He was an artist in residence at the Tanzfabrik Berlin. In 2007, he founded the BERLIN GOGOS agency, whose dancers and formats are booked worldwide.
The accompanying DVD is also been shown at numerous festivals.

He has been commissioned to produce work specifically for e.g. the Interface Festival, the Volksoper Wien and Palindrome Nuremberg. In May 2009, he choreographed a new piece for the renowned Toronto Dance Theatre. His productions “A Taste of Ra” and “Eine Geschichte” premiered in Berlin in November/ December 2009. In 2010, he will work with the IOD Company in St. Petersburg as part of the Intradance project.
