"The power of language in images"
Photographic competition

THE MISSION
The competition invites interested photographers to capture the “power of language” in a photo – completely without words. As can no other medium, photography can pointedly and grippingly illustrate the effect of language. We are looking for images that show how language shapes relations among people and the relation of people to their surroundings, the self-understanding of the individual and of whole groups. The description of the mission has been deliberately kept fairly open. We are interested in your personal, pictorial interpretation of the “power of language”.
