We present professional ensembles from Germany to a global audience and encourage international artistic collaboration by organising guest directorships, co-productions, staged readings and projects promoting the next generation of performers.
We initiate and supervise projects in the disciplines of theatrical plays, contemporary dance, performance, theatre for children and young adults, puppet and figure theatre and new German drama.
Besides arranging performances by German artistes abroad we also support guest appearances in Germany by outstanding ensembles from developing and transition countries, working in close collaboration with German festivals and organising committees.
