Leipziger Buchmesse: 15. bis 18. März 2012

Leipzig Book Fair provides the Goethe-Institut with an outstanding opportunity to showcase aspects of its translation promotion and literature programmes to the general public and a professional audience in Germany. Most events at the Book Fair are organised in conjunction with partner organisations and thus attest to the Goethe-Institut’s excellent contacts in the German literary scene. Without this network, our activities to promote German literature abroad would not be successful.

Come and join us for the award of the German-Arabic Translation Prize and the “Brücke Berlin” Prize, for panels on the Goethe-Institut’s residency programmes for writers, on German authors’ experiences abroad, and socially conscious comic-book projects, or for discussions about literary translation.
