Mellowing by Dance On Ensemble

Contemporary Dance Performance
November 8, 2024
Starts:  8:00 pm
Venue: Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi

Discover MELLOWING, the creation by acclaimed Greek choreographer Christos Papadopoulos, presented for the first time in collaboration with the renowned Dance On Ensemble—a company of exceptional dancers all over the age of 40.
In this evocative performance, Papadopoulos draws on the dancers’ deep physical knowledge and life experience. Together, they explore the tension and harmony between concentration and fullness, tenderness and unconditionality, pulsating energy, speed, and stillness.
MELLOWING invites audiences into a poetic world of movement and presence, offering a rich and memorable experience that resonates long after the final moment.

Moving Introduction to MELLOWING

Before the performance begins, audience members are warmly invited to take part in a Moving Introduction to MELLOWING. In this 20-minute participatory session, participants will explore two to three key movement approaches from the choreography.
No previous dance experience is required.
Duration: 20 minutes
Participation: Open to all, no registration required.
