Goethe-Découverte 2019: CYSOUL

Cysoul, born Cyril Fouda Etoundi, was already a chorister as early as 9 years old. He won his first music contest at 11, accompanied by his secondary school’s orchestra. At 12, he was a regular at cabarets in Yaounde and was learning stage performance. At 18, he stopped school to focus on music. At 19, he won the Goethe Découverte 2019, being the youngest amongst the winners.
