Slamthérapie
Lydol is a spoken-word artist and writing workshop facilitator. She is a member of the collective known as 237 Paroles and has won several national prizes. Having represented Cameroon at various festivals and contests in Africa and Europe, she is will be showcasing her maiden album, Slamtherapy, which revolves mainly around the changes that have occurred in her life as an artist since she came across spoken word. She is the organiser of Science Slam Cameroun and Style haut à stylo and seeks, through her actions, to help take spoken word poetry beyond the rather intimate setting of spoken word workshops and performance venues. Lydol writes both in English and French meanwhile she is also making first attempts to write in German. her pieces are usually performed a cappella or with music.
