The collection of poems Écoute! is a book that, through its 38 texts, lets you see through the lines, the shadows, and flashes of human beeings under various aspects: behavioural, sentimental, spiritual, familial, cultural and societal.  The sounds of his poetry will rock you to sleep, relax you and even make you smile, while ringing the bell change to save the life of mankind.  In short, like many other books, Écoute! is a response to the degradation of values, challenges us all to accept our individual and/or collective responsibility and prompts us to introspect, to awaken a new awareness and love for the present generation and those to come.   This book signing gives us the opportunity to discuss the responsibility of every one of us to act to safeguard our humanity, which is crumbling under the weight of contradictions and anti-values.

L’APREM’ DU LIVRE is a series of book signing sessions organised by Goethe-Institut Kamerun every second Wednesday of the month to better publicise authors/writers and give them a wider readership while enabling readers to discover new Cameroonian titles. Thus, following a call for applications, the Goethe-Institut selected 12 authors who will showcase their publications at the Goethe-Institut or a partner institution throughout 2023. This platform enables booklovers and interested persons to discuss the themes covered in books directly with the authors and go back home with a signed copy.
