1jour, 1métier is a monthly information event highlighting a particular profession. During this meeting, a resource person talks about the context  of the job , its evolution and possible future development. He or she also presents the job, the daily routine and the qualification required. Emphasis is placed on the prerequisites and training required. The event is aimed at future students and  young professionals.

Considered today to be a fundamental pillar of human well-being and social progress, medicine encompasses a wide range of disciplines, from general medicine to specialist areas such as cardiology, neurology and paediatrics, to name  these few. In this first  presentation, with Dr Kasia Yves Bertrand, we explore the different facets of obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the profession.
