After devoting his career to promoting members of his tribe, the famous Minister Souleymane Ibrahima faced a harsh truth: those for whom he had sacrificed himself were only by his side for their own personal gain. With the judicial machine already in motion against him, he was dismissed very early on. Alone in the face of his fate, the now former minister is forced to face the facts. He gradually reveals to his lawyer the heavy secret that weighs on his conscience.

About the author
Born on 3rd March 1997, Moustapha Zourmba is a PhD student in General Private Law at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the University of Ngaoundéré and a UNESCO Ambassador for Peace. After Entre tribu et nation - Cubki anndal, presented at the Aprèm’ du livre in 2023, he is now back with Kiita, le fruit de la désillusion, his second novel.

L'aprèm' du livre is the monthly book presentation organised by the Goethe-Institut Cameroon. It enables authors to present their works to a broad public and to trigger dialogue with the audience. Each year, 11 authors are selected by a jury following a call for entries.
