Through its Escale Bantoo program, Scène d’Ébène continues its mission to identify, support, and promote the international development of emerging African artists who are still underexposed on the global scene. This year, the program also expands to include independent and visionary labels that are helping to build a stronger, fairer, and better-connected African music ecosystem.
The 2025/2026 catalogue embodies this vision, featuring a new generation of promising talents – Ines D, Orion Jaeb, and Larys Nwal – whose creativity and stage presence capture the vibrant energy of the contemporary Cameroonian music scene. Alongside them, singer Lornoar stands as a symbol of trust and continuity. Her career reflects the tangible impact of Scène d’Ébène’s long-term artistic support, grounded in shared vision, mutual confidence, and professional expertise.
Another prominent figure, Mr Leo, an icon of Cameroonian music, joins the Escale Bantoo network to strengthen his visibility on international professional stages. His presence under scores the Hub’s role as a bridge between local talent and the global music industry.
More than a program, Escale Bantoo is a space for building, learning, and sharing. It’s team is committed to strengthening young labels, off ering strategic guidance on legal frameworks, copyright management, editorial promotion, and market access. True to its mission, Scène d’Ébène sees itself as a gateway for opportunity—empowering new voices and opening fresh horizons for Came roonian and African music to shine on the world stage.
