Bouba and Nathalie, along with other migrants, are chasing a dream of a better future that turns into a tragedy. The play MI-GRANDS depicts the tragedy of African migration through the story of young people forced into exile by poverty and unemployment. It exposes the illusions surrounding the journey to Europe, raises awareness of the dangers of irregular migration, and highlights the severe consequences of this choice: the hardships of the desert, exploitation in a foreign land and the perils of the sea. ‘Mi-Grands’ calls for urgent and collective awareness of this phenomenon, as it is a destructive and persistent disaster.
