"Au Ministère du soya" by the Naga Mboko troupe of the Agape association
"Naga Mboko", a troupe of twelve actors aged 14 year on average, was created in 2014 by the youth of the Agape association for the assistance and development of disadvantaged youth and street children. In addition to providing care and education, the association teaches theatre in order to develop expression and creativity and to raise awareness on the dangers of street life and of dropping out of school. Drawn from the short story collection, Les Bimanes, by Sévérin Cécile Abéga, “Au ministère du soya” tells the story of Garba, a soya seller seeking treatment after wounding his hand.
