Wikimedians of Cameroon User Group is the local group of Cameroonian users affiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation. The group promotes the projects of this Foundation in Cameroon in a bid to boost Cameroon’s visibility on Wikipedia. The said projects include: Wiki Loves Women, Wiki Loves Earth, and Wiki Loves Africa. The latter, whose fourth edition is being organised under the theme “People at Work”, is an international photo contest, which is open to all and welcomes all visual, audio or video media related to work in Africa and in Cameroon. Special prizes will be awarded for photos and reports on women at work, and on rare or disappearing trades.
