“Mawanda” troupe is made up of five hiphop dancers who had been working solo since 2000. Enriched by dance battles, collaborations with other artists, through various shows and performances, they each moulded distinct identities until 2016, when they decided to join forces and participate in a dance contest as a group. Bent on enhancing the status of this art form in Cameroon, they combined their ideological goals with those of an association called “DanseZ“, which promotes art and culture through dance in and beyond Cameroon. “Qui suis-je?” is their very first show.
