Kafka Year 2024

June 3, 2024 marks the centenary of the death of the writer Franz Kafka. Franz Kafka's works are part of the literary canon not only in Germany, not only in German-speaking countries. His narrative prose, whether novels, short stories or parables, is universal and timeless, which is why his texts are read in schools worldwide, in the original or in translation, and as classics of world literature are on the curriculum of many universities and in the interest not only of literary research but also of readers everywhere.
