Science Film Festival 2026

Since its launch in 2005, the Science Film Festival has grown into a globally renowned initiative for science communication. The festival reached 953,828 viewers across 20 countries in 2025 alone and was presented with the Special Achievement in Children’s Media Award by PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL, the world’s leading organisation dedicated to children's and youth media.

Closure Notice

The Goethe-Institut Äthiopien will be closed on Wednesday, 26 August 2026. We will reopen and resume regular services on Thursday, 27 August 2026.

ELIBRARY

The eLibrary is the virtual library of the Goethe-Institut. This service allows you to borrow digital documents, such as eBooks, eAudio books and electronic newspapers, for a predetermined period of time, by downloading them from the eLibrary.
