The following photo story has been produced as part of Mekdes Ababu solo exploration during Water in Ethiopia.

Babogaya is one of the beautiful and calm waters of Bishoftu crater lakes. Besides its beauty, it sustains life of the fish, the birds and the Fishermen. ''Fishing has been my life'‘, says Ephrem to whom the lake has been an essential resource since childhood. Ephrem and his friends are part of a small fishing community. They go out early in the morning to cast the net and collect the fishes, then they come back to their site where they clean the fish to prepare it for the customers.
