Dates and Enrolment

Do you need certification or a diploma for work, study or a visa? Would you like to know the level of your knowledge of German?
There are numerous internationally recognized proficiency exams available through our institute.
 
The  overview of Goethe-Institut examination and course levels can tell you which exam is designed for which level.
Level Overview

The testing locations make every effort to accommodate participants with special needs (such as chronic illnesses, visual or hearing impairment). The level and type of chronic illness/disability must be disclosed upon registering for the exam and be confirmed by a doctor’s attestation. The testing location is obligated to maintain strict confidentiality.

More detailed information can be obtained directly at the testing location at which you wish to take the exam.

You can also obtain information on examination preparation and further examination dates from Language Course Office.

Due to very high demand for exams, all enrolments go through a waiting list. To register on the waiting list, please send us an e-mail with a copy of your ID, Passport or Refugee-ID or come in person with your ID, Passport or Refugee-ID to the language course office or reception of the Goethe-Institut in Addis Abeba.
