Courses for children aged 8-11

Learning a foreign language at an early age has many benefits. For instance children are naturally inquisitive and enjoy exploring and trying things out, especially when learning a foreign language.

We support your child in those early stages as they discover the German language and culture. One important goal of our course is to make sure your child’s having fun learning, and is able to access the content in a child-friendly, playful way. Language learning in our courses for children is similar to native language acquisition. Children learn the language through song, play, craft, art, mimicry and listening to stories. Courses for young people aged 12-16

Learning German at Goethe-Institut Georgia gives young people the chance to use German language in role play, projects and different conversation situations, and most importantly in ways that are relevant to teens.

So teaching in our courses for young people is designed to be age-appropriate, interactive and diverse.
All language skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing – are taught and practised in situations that are as authentic as possible.

For this reason we devote particular attention to discovery learning, taking the different learning styles into consideration and trying to inspire the young people to learn German in the afternoon after what’s usually a long school day.
