In this workshop, tutor will explain the plastic waste issue and let you know more about the sorting of plastic. You can also learn how to turn the plastic wastes into flakes with the “Manual Shredder” as well as to remould plastic with the “Heat-press Machine”.

Remarks:
The workshop is mainly conducted in Cantonese with some English translation if necessary.
Each session lasts for 60 minutes.
Total 2 sessions, max. 15 participants in each session.
For young children aged 12 or above and adults.
Founded in 2016, it is Gaau1 Up’s aim to promote the value of plastic and related knowledge to the public through various experiential, creative and educational programmes. Since its establishment, Gaau1 Up has built a set of small plastic recycling machines, including a shredder, injection machine, extrusion machine, heat press machine and so on, according to Precious Plastic’s open source design blueprint.
