Ukrainian Culture Day 2026

Ukrainian Culture Day 2026

Organised by the Ukrainian Society of Hong Kong, the event celebrates Ukrainian embroidery (вишивка / vyshyvka) as a living symbol of Ukrainian cultural identity and artistic heritage. It positions embroidery not just as a craft, but as a powerful language that carries centuries of history, regional diversity, family stories, and spiritual symbolism. Comprising two embroidery exhibitions, a Ukrainian handicraft bazaar, workshops, and a live music performance, the event aims to support people affected by the war in Ukraine.
