La Table Verte (The Green Table) was premiered in 1932 by German choreographer Kurt Jooss. Inspired by this work, the Kobe-based dance company Ensemble Sonne has created a new production, The Green Table 2017, which will be performed at Kobe Bunka Hall in October. To mark the hall's 50th anniversary, a special version will feature a total of 50 dancers on stage, including members of the audience selected through an open call.
