Ensembles, a video installation about Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch is a composition of video projections and music, created by Ismaël Dia and Pina Bausch's long-time companion Matthias Burkert. Video recordings had been an essential part of Pina Bausch's working process since the beginnings. Rolf Borzik, Herbert Rach, Detlef Erler,Jérôme Cassou, Grigori Chakov and others have been recording her work. This installation is a journey through time, emergence, evolution, change and rejuvenation - it is one way out of many to look at this artistic work.
