Goethe-Institut Pakistan is delighted to invite you to 'Film Talents - Premiere', screenings on 10th December 2021, 6pm at Beach Luxury Hotel.
''Film Talents – Voices from Pakistan and Afghanistan” offered young emerging filmmakers in Pakistan and Afghanistan the opportunity to take part in a mentorship programme through a series of workshops which took place in Pakistan and digitally with German filmmaker Till Passow. Participants were given a seed funding for production.
Films have won several awards: the Vanguard Award at the San Francisco Intern. Short Film Festival, were nominated for the American Film Institute Docs Award and the International Documentary Award. Some of the films have been also screened at prestigious film festivals like Sundance, Locarno, Palm Springs Intern. Film Festival, CPH:DOX, Ji.hlava Intern. Documentary Festival.

6:10pm Welcome by Simone Lenz (Director, Goethe-Institut Pakistan).
6:20pm Welcome by Till Passow (German Film Maker).
6:30pm Screening of the Films at Tulip I Hall.
8:45pm Q&A.
