German Weeks 2017
The Goethe-Institut is supporting the KB17, the first biennale in Karachi under the theme of “Witness”, curated by Amin Gulgee. This biennale will bring art and performances out of the gallery spaces and connect to a wider audience by using several historical buildings in the city.
Several artists from Germany are invited: the artists´ duo bankleer will place a sculpture that transforms into a performative element. Artists in residence 2016, Miro Craemer and Honi Ryan will come with new projects; OVERxCOME and the “Silent Dinner”. And Wolfgang Spahn will present a sound and light piece. Pablo Lauf will present his photographic work.
