European Night of Poetry

We look forward to welcome you to the European Night of Poetry taking place on 14 February at 8.00 PM at the rooftop of the Saudi Music Hub.

Under the Riyadh stars, we will emerge ourselves into the wonderful world of poetry, listening to beautiful poems recited in various European languages – French, Italian, English, German Spanish, Portuguese & Polish – as well as in Arabic, celebrating the passing ‘Year of Arabic Poetry’ in Saudi Arabia. Besides poetry, we will also have the chance to enjoy wonderful music in between recitals brought to you by the Saudi Music Hub. All poems will also be projected on screen in English translation.

This special event is organised by the EU National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) cluster in Saudi Arabia, specifically the Goethe Institut, Alliance Française, British Council, the Embassies of France, Italy, Austria, Spain and Germany as well as the EU Delegation to Saudi Arabia, in close collaboration with the Embassies of Poland and Portugal and the Saudi Music Hub.
Dress code: smart casual.
