Programmes and Competitions

Activating pupils is one of the most important – and sometimes most difficult – challenges any teacher faces. The Goethe-Institut Thailand has therefore put together a series of cultural events and competitions designed to help you motivate your pupils and to make learning German more fun.

Master of German as a Foreign Language (DaF)

With the Master of German as a Foreign Language, Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, Friedrich Schiller University of Jena and the Goethe-Institut Thailand promote intercultural exchange and professional qualification of teachers and students.

    What does responsibility and sustainability in food mean to you? The contestants from our videoclip competition “Consumption and responsibility” have shared their ideas and wishes with us. Take a look at the videos of the winners Praiya Leewanun and Taratip Suthaphun in which they present how to deal with the Verpackungsmüll bei Lebensmitteln and what we can do to encourage the responsible consumption.

    We celebrate diversity in our digital ICH SO DU SO project with students from Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

    Thailand is a country full of diversity. As part of a competition for university students, we were looking for creative minds who want to share their perspective of diversity in Thailand with us through their very own podcasts.

  • Deutschmobil

    The “Deutschmobil” is a mobile unit which promotes the teaching of German as a subject in Thai secondary schools. A Thai-German team of young teachers from the Goethe-Institut, who travel to the schools in a VW van.
