Choral music there ensures social cohesion among the people and offers personal development. The music film SING IT LOUD - LUTHER'S HERITAGE IN TANZANIA takes the audience on an emotional journey and tells about music, faith and joy of life. An exciting, visual and acoustic festival, with impressive images of the Tanzanian landscape, touching family stories and surprising insights into Tanzanian life.
Synopsis
Each year more than 1500 choirs participate in competitions in Northern Tanzania. The best choirs compete against each other in the final of the 60 year old competition of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. The film tells of the life, faith and musical work of six people who sing in three different choirs.
 
With the Kanaani Youth Choir at Cinema Tour in Germany

On the occasion of the cinema premiere and in the context of the Lutheran Year 2017, the Kanaani Youth Choir, which is portrayed in the film, together with the director Julia Irene Peters will accompany many dates of the cinema tour to the film and musically underline.
