Sauti za Busara has firmly established itself as an unmissable event on the African cultural calendar. Organised by Busara Promotions, a non-profit NGO, Sauti za Busara takes place annually during February in Stone Town, Zanzibar. It promotes respect for cultural diversity and music with cultural identity. Around 40 bands from Zanzibar and Tanzania, from across the African Continent and diaspora will perform. Young, local and emerging talents are showcased alongside established acts.
Three of those rising stars, namely Wamwiduka Band, Damian Soul and S Kide & Wakupeti Band will be on stage at the Goethe-Institut to bring the joy of this outstanding festival to a mainland audience.
