Germany Today: Virtual Speaker Series

Through a series of virtual speaker sessions, educators will explore themes revolving around the topic "Germany Today." The series will run through each academic year with five speakers each year. Topics will range from discussing American and German election systems to German baking to lesson demonstrations from our TOP alumni. This speaker series is intended for educators hoping to learn more about contemporary Germany and how they can implement new ideas and experiences into their classrooms.

Pirates and Punks

TOP Alum, Scott Noet, led a hands-on presentation discussing his lesson plan on the Edelweiss Pirates and East German punks and how to teach about youth activism in the North American classroom. The talk took place on June 4, 2025 at 6:00PM EST. Recording and materials are available on event page.

The Cultural Landscape of Memory
