Iva Čukić: How to achieve libraries as commons?

Initiated by the Goethe-Institut Kroatien in cooperation with the Ministry of Space collective, 2021 the research „Libraries as Commons“ was published. It deals with key characteristics of commons and elements for the development of libraries as infrastructures of a democracy. This research will be a starting point of the workshop where we’ll deal with the basic elements of commons: resources, community and management in libraries of the participants or libraries they try to create. The goal is to understand the concept and the structure through group exercise and set guidelines for further dealing with this topic.
