Immerse yourself in the animated series “Feierabend” by the Goethe-Institut and follow three young people as they begin their shared life in a flatshare in Germany. The series offers authentic insights into the everyday experiences of newcomers and provides numerous opportunities for culturally sensitive, motivating, and practice-oriented German as a Foreign Language (DaF) teaching.

In this workshop, you will first receive an introduction to the series during the warm-up and input phase and watch selected episodes together. The practical phase in small groups then invites you to analyze the episodes and accompanying teaching materials, exchange ideas on didactic approaches, and gain valuable tips from the developer of the didactic materials on how to flexibly integrate the series into your own lessons.

Finally, we will reflect on the results together, discuss experiences, and collect ideas for practical classroom implementation. Look forward to inspiring insights, fresh impulses, and a wealth of suggestions for your DaF teaching!
