Description
Discover Germany and learn German. With the free app Deutschland. Kennen. Lernen. (get to know Germany), students can improve their German effortlessly whilst learning about the country and getting to know a modern diverse Germany.
From level A2, the app, which is divided into eight themes, offers interactive exercises and informative features such as quizzes, films and exciting articles. There are free worksheets on the website for the themes and ideas for using them in class. Themes of the app are: "Living in Germany", "Leisure Time & Voluntary Service", "Ecology & Sustainability", "Study in Germany", "Clever and Creative Minds", "Working in Germany", "Building Culture" and "Nature".
The app can also be used in combination with the multi-coloured poster of Germany, which is equipped with augmented reality (AR) features. Hung up in large format or as a DIN-A4 print on the students' desks, the app is even more fun.
The app is also available in selected languages. This way, students who speak little to no German can learn more about Germany in their own language.
