Description
How can we integrate poetry slam in our German lessons? Which steps lead us from an idea to the text and ultimately to the performance?
In three video tutorials, Berlin-based slam poet Bas Böttcher guides us through the process of creating slam poetry step-by-step and offers vivid illustrations and hands-on exercises.
The first video deals with the content and the question how words, sounds, images, and associations can lead to ideas on which slam poetry is based. The second video focusses on the text and offers insights into different methods of text writing. The show is the central aspect of the third video and we receive tips and tricks for the perfect performance.
The video tutorials can be used for learners of German of different levels in class or in online lessons. The videos with German subtitles can be found on the German language version.
