WORKING WITH STORIES, FAIRY TALES AND SONGS
Stories and fairy tales, and sometimes songs, serve as the basis for the individual modules. The listening and/or reading experience is complemented by numerous activities that serve to develop the children's foreign language skills and at the same time encourage the development of their personalities. Play and fun are central. It is important that the children feel comfortable while learning, that the atmosphere is relaxed and that enough time and space is provided for an action-oriented approach to the language.STRUCTURE OF THE MODULES
The structure of each module is the same. In the guide, the topic and content are given first. These are followed by the objectives and the list of materials. At the end of each module description, there is a lesson plan, worked out in small steps, which should help the educators to realize it. Important components of the modules are the picture cards, task sheets and handicraft templates, which can be downloaded free of charge.TARGET GROUP
The modules are designed for children ages 8-10, but they can easily be adapted for slightly younger or older children.Locations
