Description

Ten-year-old Anton grows up without a father. When his mother falls ill, he takes over her job in an ice cream parlor. This has consequences for his performance at school. When teacher Bremser also wants to punish him for a scuffle, Anton is defended by his school friend Luise Pogge, called "Pünktchen". Pünktchen is a child from a rich family. But her parents have little time for their daughter and do not notice that she feels more and more neglected. Finally, the family affords a housekeeper and an au pair girl in their luxurious villa to take care of Pünktchen. Anton dreams of financing a relaxing vacation at the seaside for his mother. In his helplessness, he steals an expensive lighter from the Pogges' villa, getting himself and his mother into trouble. But a conciliatory end seems to be in sight.
